Ombre Powder Brows (Microshading)
Ombre Powder brows are a popular form of permanent makeup in which shading is applied behind an individuals brow hair to achieve a density that defines their brows. This technique results in an ombre’ brow that fades into a darker tail similar to makeup, however this service can be done as naturally or as bold as the client desires. This technique is versatile and can be done on almost every skin-type. Results will last 1-2 years before noticeable fading, and is recommended for all skin-types including those with excessively oily skin and/or little to no hair. Prior to the start of the service, we will discuss your brow goals and map the perfect brow using key measurements, your face shape, and your natural hair flow. The service does not start until you approve and we mutually agree on the brow shape. A $50 retainer is required when booking this service and will be applied to your balance. This pricing does not include the 6-8 week touch-up ($75) which must also be booked online.

Combination Brows
Combination brows are similar to ombre’ powder brows with the addition of hair-like strokes to the beginning of the brow. This technique implants hair strokes that gradually fade into a darker fuller brow but still retains a natural finish when healed. This technique is recommended for those who have brows but want to give them shape. This service is not recommended for those with little to no hair at all at the head (front) of the brow and/or those with oily skin. Prior to the start of the service, we will discuss your brow goals and map the perfect brow using key measurements, your face shape, and your natural hair flow The service does not start until you approve the brow shape. A $50 retainer is required when booking this service and will be applied to your balance. This pricing does not include the 6-8 week touch-up ($75) which must be booked online.

Priority appointments are those booked outside of our typical business hours and can be either of our brow services listed above. This pricing does not include the 6-8 week touch-up ($75) which must be booked online.

Perfecting Sessions
All semi-permanent makeup services will require a 6-8 week perfecting session to perfect your brows and ensure their longevity for the next year. Failure to book your perfecting session within 6-8 weeks will result in no guarantee that your brows will have the longevity that you desire. This session is $75 and is paid at the time of the perfecting session. Please book this session immediately after booking your initial session to guarantee an appointment. If you do not see any availability please email us at info@artistrybyzuri.com within 24 hours of booking your initial appointment.

Maintenance Touch Ups
Your brows will fade over the course of the year. Brow maintenance is recommended every 1-2 years depending upon how well your brows retain pigment over time. This time between maintenance touch-up is predicated upon your skintype, lifestyle, health status, and health behaviors. We offer a 6-12 month, 12-24 month, and 24-36 month option. We do prioritize healthy skin and can make suggestions of whether we believe you need a maintenance touch-up.

Existing Work
If you have existing work, do not book an appointment without a consultation prior to booking services. If approved, there are additional fees as existing work requires corrective work beyond covering existing brows. Please also be aware that with existing work, even greater concern is any scar tissue damage that may lie underneath the skin. As such, all clients with existing work must undergo a consultation. Should we determine it is not in the best interest to cover existing work, we may offer alternate suggestions.

Avoid caffeinated drinks and alcohol preferably for one week prior to your appointment but no less than within 72 hours of your scheduled appointment time. These aforementioned act as blood thinners and will cause excessive bleeding. Excessive bleeding will result in results that can be unpredictable.
Avoid plucking or waxing your brows within 72 hours of your scheduled appointment. You may however get your brows threaded within that timeframe.
Avoid exfoliators 72 hours before services. Ex. Skincare products that contains glycolic acid, Retin A, Renova, and alpha hydroxyl acids.
Avoid botox injections as this may result in an uneven brow shape when the injection wears. You may resume injections after you have completed services.

A local anesthetic is applied during the service. On a scale from 1-10, most clients rate the service a 3 and deem the procedure tolerable. Please know that ABZ is 100% committed to ensuring your comfort during the appointment. Headphones and books are recommended as a distraction and may be brought to your appointment. We do numb clients half-way through our services and clients most often do not feel any sensation after numbing.

Do not apply any creams, ointments, or get the brows wet for the duration of the healing period. See below for specifics regarding what you may expect.
Day 1
You may experience redness however this will subside within a few hours. DO NOT expect your brow tattoo to heal perfectly after the first session. This is a 2 step process. It takes time. BE PATIENT during your 10 day healing process your brows will change and appear different from day to day.
Day 2
The pigment in the brow area will appear darker than the initial color of the first day. This is due to oxidation of the pigment and is a normal occurrence.
Day 3
The skin in the brow area will begin to scab.
Day 4-8
The skin in the brow area will continue to scab and eventually shed. It is of utmost importance that you do not pick the scabbing prematurely. This could cause pigment to lift prematurely and/or cause scarring to the service area.
Day 9+
The crust should have completely shed and the pigment behind may look very faint. DO NOT WORRY!! The color will return gradually in the days to come. When the flaking sheds, the hair strokes may seem faint as a fresh layer of skin has healed over the brow tattoo. Give your brows a few weeks and the hair strokes will become clearer.
Day 10-14
Your brows are healed externally! You may resume washing and makeup in the brow area. As a precaution, you should never chemical peel and/or exfoliate directly over the brows, however your normal skin routine may resume.
Post Day 14
*Your brow tattoo will take up to 4 weeks (28 days) to exfoliate and up to 6 weeks before they fully heal underneath the skin. Color will continue to change on a daily basis until all healing is complete.
*You may experience itchiness in the brows after the 10 days for up to 2 months due to the healing process of the dermal layer.

DO NOT expose your brows to the sun during the healing process. UV Rays can alter the pigment of your tattoo and cause fading and photodegredation. Following the first 10 days. SPF is important for the longevity of your micropigmentation. Please wear protective material such as a visor or hat to minimize exposure to the sun.
DO NOT sweat excessively for 10 days. Moderate exercise is fine.
DO NOT run direct water on your brow tattoo. If there is a need to clean, use a clean cotton round, pad, or q-tip and mild soap.
DO NOT use Vaseline on your tattoo.
DO NOT use any makeup, creams or exfoliants on the brows for 10 days.
DO NOT visit sauna’s, pools, and steam rooms.
DO NOT get massages or facials or skin treatments during the healing process.
DO NOT go tanning and if you do cover your brow tattoo, UV rays can alter the colour of your tattoo.
DO NOT use exfoliants, retinol acids, or AHA’s on the brow area. It will fade your tattoo prematurely.
DO NOT use laser light therapy on your brow tattoo. This can darken, lighten, and distort the pigment
