Our Brow Services

Ombre Powder Brows (Microshading)

Best for:
Clients with oily skin who want a soft, makeup-like brow with long-lasting definition and minimal daily maintenance.
What this service is:
Ombre Powder Brows are a form of permanent makeup where shading is applied behind the natural brow hair to create depth and definition. The result is a soft, gradient effect that can be customized to appear natural or more bold depending on your preference. This technique is versatile and suitable for most skin types, with results typically lasting 1–2 years before noticeable fading.
Before pigment is applied, we discuss your brow goals and map the ideal shape using facial measurements, face shape, and your natural brow pattern. The service does not begin until we mutually agree on the final brow design.
Important notes:
Recommended for all skin types, including oily skin and clients with little to no brow hair
A $50 retainer is required at booking and will be applied to your balance
Pricing does not include the required 6–8 week perfecting session (touch-up), which must be booked separately online
Combination Brows

Best for:
Clients with normal to dry skin who already have natural brow hair and want added shape, definition, and fullness while maintaining a natural healed appearance.
What this service is:
Combination Brows blend the soft shading of ombre powder brows with hair-like strokes at the front of the brow. These strokes gradually fade into a darker, fuller brow toward the tail, creating dimension while still healing naturally.
This technique is recommended for clients who have existing brow hair but want improved shape and structure. Prior to the start of the service, we will discuss your brow goals and map the ideal brow using key measurements, your facial structure, and your natural hair flow. The service does not begin until you approve the brow shape.
Important notes:
Not recommended for clients with little to no brow hair at the front (head) of the brow
Not recommended for clients with oily skin
A $50 retainer is required at booking and will be applied to your balance
Pricing does not include the required 6–8 week perfecting session (touch-up), which must be booked separately online
Priority Brow Appointments

Best for:
Clients who need scheduling flexibility outside of standard business hours.
What this option includes:
Priority appointments allow you to book either Ombre Powder Brows or Combination Brows outside of our typical business hours. This option is ideal for clients with limited availability who still want the same personalized, science-backed brow experience.
All priority appointments follow the same consultation, brow mapping, and approval process as standard appointments.
Important notes:
This is an appointment upgrade, not a separate brow service
Must be booked in addition to Ombre Powder Brows or Combination Brows
Pricing does not include the required 6–8 week perfecting session (touch-up), which must be booked separately online

Consultations & Existing Work

Existing Work

If you have existing work, do not book an appointment without a consultation prior to booking services. If approved, there are additional fees as existing work requires corrective work beyond simply covering existing brows. Please also be aware that with existing work, even greater concern is any scar tissue damage that may lie underneath the skin. As such, all clients with existing work must undergo a consultation and the existing work add-on irrespective of how faded you may believe the brows to be. Should we determine it is not in the best interest to cover existing work, we may offer alternate suggestions.
Consultations

Our website is updated frequently with the information needed to book the best service for your skin-type. Should you still have questions regarding services after thoroughly reviewing the website, we are more than happy to answer via email. Please email questions info@artistrybyzuri.com. We do not offer phone consultations. If you wish to book a live consultation at the studio, you may book a 45-minute consultation. This consultation fee is not deducted from services and includes a mapping session to determine the best shape and a thorough intake session with our lead artist, Zuri. The desired brow service would be booked separately.

Perfecting Session (Required | 6–8 Weeks)

All semi-permanent makeup services require a 6–8 week perfecting session to refine shape, reinforce pigment, and ensure long-term results.
Required for all brow services
Ensures longevity and optimal healed outcomes
Failure to book within 6–8 weeks voids longevity guarantees
Fee: $75, paid at the time of the perfecting session
Please book your perfecting session immediately after your initial appointment to guarantee availability.

Maintenance Touch Ups (As-Needed)

Brows naturally fade over time. Maintenance touch-ups are recommended every 1–2 years, depending on pigment retention, skin type, lifestyle, and overall health.
Available options include:
6–12 months
12–24 months
24–36 months
We prioritize healthy skin and will advise whether a maintenance session is appropriate for you.

no pregnancy/breastfeeding. You may book brow services 90 days post-breastfeeding.
tendency to keloid with tattoos (applies to Microblading and Combination brows).
uncontrolled diabetes.
serious disease such as cancer, autoimmune disorders, circulatory and bleeding disorders
blood thinners or retonoids
skin irritation in service area
sunburns
acne & rosacea in the service area
Avoid caffeinated drinks and alcohol preferably for one week prior to your appointment but no less than within 72 hours of your scheduled appointment time. These aforementioned act as blood thinners and will cause excessive bleeding. Excessive bleeding will result in results that can be unpredictable.
Avoid plucking or waxing your brows within 72 hours of your scheduled appointment. You may however get your brows threaded within that timeframe.
Avoid exfoliators 72 hours before services. Ex. Skincare products that contains glycolic acid, Retin A, Renova, and alpha hydroxyl acids.
Avoid botox injections as this may result in an uneven brow shape when the injection wears. You may resume injections after you have completed services.
A local anesthetic is applied during the service. On a scale from 1-10, most clients rate the service a 3 and deem the procedure tolerable. Please know that ABZ is 100% committed to ensuring your comfort during the appointment. Headphones and books are recommended as a distraction and may be brought to your appointment. We do numb clients half-way through our services and clients most often do not feel any sensation after numbing.
Do not apply any creams, ointments, or get the brows wet for the duration of the healing period. See below for specifics regarding what you may expect.
Day 1
You may experience redness however this will subside within a few hours. DO NOT expect your brow tattoo to heal perfectly after the first session. This is a 2 step process. It takes time. BE PATIENT during your 10 day healing process your brows will change and appear different from day to day.
Day 2
The pigment in the brow area will appear darker than the initial color of the first day. This is due to oxidation of the pigment and is a normal occurrence.
Day 3
The skin in the brow area will begin to scab.
Day 4-8
The skin in the brow area will continue to scab and eventually shed. It is of utmost importance that you do not pick the scabbing prematurely. This could cause pigment to lift prematurely and/or cause scarring to the service area.
Day 9+
The crust should have completely shed and the pigment behind may look very faint. DO NOT WORRY!! The color will return gradually in the days to come. When the flaking sheds, the hair strokes may seem faint as a fresh layer of skin has healed over the brow tattoo. Give your brows a few weeks and the hair strokes will become clearer.
Day 10-14
Your brows are healed externally! You may resume washing and makeup in the brow area. As a precaution, you should never chemical peel and/or exfoliate directly over the brows, however your normal skin routine may resume.
Post Day 14
*Your brow tattoo will take up to 4 weeks (28 days) to exfoliate and up to 6 weeks before they fully heal underneath the skin. Color will continue to change on a daily basis until all healing is complete.
*You may experience itchiness in the brows after the 10 days for up to 2 months due to the healing process of the dermal layer.
DO NOT expose your brows to the sun during the healing process. UV Rays can alter the pigment of your tattoo and cause fading and photodegredation. Following the first 10 days. SPF is important for the longevity of your micropigmentation. Please wear protective material such as a visor or hat to minimize exposure to the sun.
DO NOT sweat excessively for 10 days. Moderate exercise is fine.
DO NOT run direct water on your brow tattoo. If there is a need to clean, use a clean cotton round, pad, or q-tip and mild soap.
DO NOT use Vaseline on your tattoo.
DO NOT use any makeup, creams or exfoliants on the brows for 10 days.
DO NOT visit sauna’s, pools, and steam rooms.
DO NOT get massages or facials or skin treatments during the healing process.
DO NOT go tanning and if you do cover your brow tattoo, UV rays can alter the colour of your tattoo.
DO NOT use exfoliants, retinol acids, or AHA’s on the brow area. It will fade your tattoo prematurely.
DO NOT use laser light therapy on your brow tattoo. This can darken, lighten, and distort the pigment
A deposit or retainer is due at the time of booking. Balance must be paid in cash at the time of service.
